Passion: A System of Control

Passion: A System of Control - 2015.

Using two formats of the pubertal pictogram (infantile control and pubertal elaboration), it is possible to make a clearer distinction between passion and love. Passion would be characterized as a double play of abuse of phallic power to the detriment of the new sexual and once again, a “breakdown.” Love is a moment favoured by the inter-subjectivization necessary for adolescent creativity. At the frontier between these two states, passion can be in love, and love passionate. Two clinical examples are taken from the Hungarian novels of Sandor Márai.
