This contribution introduces the reader to a few little-known aspects of France’s Jewish burial heritage. Today, we have an epigraphic and digital inventory of the largest Sephardic burial ground in Aquitaine. It is a computerized tool that stores the results of eight summer workcamp campaigns carried out in collaboration with young European volunteers from Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste (Berlin-Brussels). The data contained in the inventory, selected, and combined according to different sorting keys, brings to light information enabling various historical, sociological, epigraphic, artistic and genealogical researches.
