Corporeal space-time and symbolization

Corporeal space-time and symbolization - 2018.

This theoretical and clinical article transforms the notion of body image by developing the notion of a field of corporeal space-time. This field is developed singularly by each subject and is sometimes deformed by attractive forces or by breakdowns over the course of life. And one of the fundamental attractive forces is the series of event-encounters of the symbolum in the outcome of transference. Our object is to expose the way in which a field of corporeal space-time is held by a set of connections, most particularly by the corporeal events within the transference. We will also explore the function of pain as a possible fate for anxiety, as well as that of an inside (interiority) that is created by elaborating the past (anteriority), by exposing clinical sequences.
