The author presents the specificities of the adolescent family in today’s Turkey. The adolescence’s crisis concerns not only the adolescent and his parents, but also his grandparents. The place of the latter ones is studied through a clinical case that shows the interest of a family therapy which should be as complete as possible. Intergenerational relationships can be approached as well as the identification’s chain. To integrate with a reasserted continuity of the family history allows the individual to strengthen his own identity.
