Memory and Violence Experienced by the Fetus

Memory and Violence Experienced by the Fetus - 2010.
1
This paper discusses violence undergone by the fetus, taking it as a mnemonic register, a mark in search of representation, with the strength of a destiny. Violence – psychological and/or physical – points out that parents are unable to resolve their problems psychologically. Fragments of a psychoanalytical family therapy case that took place in a public university hospital were used: a family composed by parents and a 35 year old son, Bertolet. The son suffered from repeated accidents that we took as able to explain, to offer emotional coherence, and unit, with what he had lived in his fetal life, and that has been registered in his memory.
