Our research is based on a qualitative and comparative exploration of two adults’ contrasting psychological resilience. Firstly, we define resilience. Our hypotheses relating to the importance of social support and quality of mental intrapsychic functioning were confirmed using clinical and projective methodology. Future research and indications for psychotherapeutic support are suggested.
