The outline of the first biographical essay devoted to C. G. Jung contains hitherto unknown elements about his childhood and youth. This discovery leads us to engage in a significant reevaluation of the scope of one of his rare known writings from that period, a poem entitled “ Thoughts on a Spring Night.”
