The premature birth of a baby is really traumatic for its parents. A long period of hospitalization looms before them, a period when the parents will never be alone beside the incubator since they are always accompanied by a multidisciplinary team. More specifically, we shall look at what is at stake for the mother in the first bonding with her baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (nicu), even though these first moments are linked to the presence of nurses.
