We consider bodily neglect in psychotic adolescents as a manifestation of the subject’s attempt to inhabit the world and be recognized by it. Without calling into question what has already been learned about neglect, which is characterized by the notions of abandonment, neglect and isolation, we explore new horizons of meaning for the phenomenon, through an anthropo-phenomenological reading of the question.
