This article proposes opening some questions regarding that which we understand by the term “selfdisclosure.” It is modeled around a series of propositions designed to stimulate our thinking: - Is self-disclosure the unveiling of a veil? This is connected to the obvious logic inherent in our practice. On the basis of this concept, the author proposes to look at a phenomenon which may open us to another way of practicing Gestalt Therapy. - And what if self-disclosure is simultaneously to remove something and to put on something else? This will lead to the idea of becoming a subject, of subjectivity and of placing the theory of the self as a hypothesis for moments of meaningful elaboration.
