The author proposes an approach to supervision which emphasizes emotional experience felt by the therapist in evoking his/her patient, whether this may be in individual or group supervision or auto-vision, and which allows for the reframing of implicit aspects, not brought to conscious awareness in a reflective way, and of that which plays out. While showing how this reasoning is coherent with the theory of Gestalt, she proposes an exercise and two clinical sketches to show how the body of the therapist may be thus mobilized in his/her capacity to understand in a global, direct and intuitive way.
