Based on the account of the consultation with a young girl who wanted to end her life and that of her mother, a victim of domestic violence, an empathetic energy healer explains to an ethnologist each step of the care provided to this family. In her own words, she explains what it means to her to feel, to communicate with invisible beings, or even to incorporate touch, and how this allows her to support people in pain. The result of a co-writing process, the article gives significant space to the healer’s discourse, scrutinized for its “evidence” and supported in her development by the ethnologist.
