In transcultural clinical practice, the link between drawings and culture raises the issue of the extent, the meaning, and the direction of mutual influences. The author first of all proposes a developmental and projective review of graphic productions. She then uses her field experience in Benin and Vietnam as a clinical researcher to illustrate her analysis of the interweaving of drawing and culture, halfway between predetermination and cultural mixing.
