Using the theoretical approach developed in terms of networks, which considers the entrepreneur the principal actor in the localization of firms, this paper aims to analyze major trends in the recent evolution of industrial localizations in Douala. We note that units of industrial production are located mainly in peripheral districts of the city, where the territorial basis of these industrial activities has gained in density in recent years.
