Through field research conducted in Morocco in recent years, this article takes an anthropological perspective upon the changes that occur within families, in particular when it comes to taking care of the elderly. We specifically emphasize several dynamics that govern relationships between generations and genders, and we compare traditional norms to those currently emerging among the young generation.
