Existing empirical studies on psychological ownership rely mostly on employees’ perceptions. This paper aims at developing a reliable and valid scale for measuring the psychological ownership of cooperatives by their members, and its determinants. Results show that psychological ownership is a multidimensional construct with seven factors. They also show that seniority and levels of education are the main determinants of members’ psychological ownership. JEL codes: C81, E21, G21, O16
