The article attempts to describe the premises of the Rzeczpospolita concept according to the argumentative approach proposed by Chaïm Perelman and Lucie Olbrechts-Tyteca (2008). The values such as community, tradition, independence, tolerance, citizenship, truth, patriotism, and progress are all included in the speeches of the presidents of the Third Republic of Poland (1989–present), the third Rzeczpospolita. All the above form the basis of its discursive identity.
