The Wound of the Event

The Wound of the Event - 2014.

It’s always from sensitive events that loom the forces of a political liberation. Our task is to think politics worthy of the wound of the event. It requires the un-human experience of bodies exposed to the excessive forces of coming worlds, the invention of idioms and incredible distancings. These politics could be said romantic if they are open to the incommensurable expression of the sublime gaps of Nature, to its movement of incompatibility. Only cosmic politics can host the excess of the sensible and the always-new experience of the Unknown.
