The decline of the USA is not a certainty, since they continue to attract foreign investments, but the crisis lingers on as many economies are contracting. The current IMF is too limitind in its scope by the complexities of International relations. A new IMF may be in preparation, to reassert the economic sovereignty of Nation-States, but it threatens to block the development of biocapitalism, the current source of financing of the Welfare-State and of private debt on the world market. Up to now China had a preference for US biocapitalism, but it currently seeks to diversify its partners. There is an increasing need for a true international currency.
