Redesigning Democracies is probably a new frontier for the designer’s work. After observation and analysis of the recent COP26 in Glasgow, the paper puts the forest and its peoples at the center of the debate. Besides indigenous and traditional peoples, who are the other actors and what are their performances? Based on these questions, we analyze recent experiences of assemblies for land Open to different cosmologies, whether in the field of production or more directly in the political sphere, these processes can then lead to a reforestation of democracy.
