The expression “resistance to changes” is often used as a way to hide choices and values of groups on which one wants to impose transformations unfavorable to them. This point of view depreciates the conceptual content of “resistance” and, as a consequence, does not facilitate the understanding of social transformation processes. Beyond any political intent, to shift or modify the management policies, some acts and speeches have, in everyday life, a subversive effect on an “established order”; they may give a concrete illustration of what could be a “different way of living and working.” These numerous resistances are an organic component of human activity insofar as mere heteronomy is simultaneously unbearable and impossible. They continually evoke play and debates or, in concrete terms, the values that are openly discussed in public space. A clinical analysis of these resistances shows how they may contribute to questioning administration and management practices in instances when the activity point of view is being expressed.
