The theology of gift in the challenge of the transhumanist perfectibility of mankind - 2021.
68
Transhumanism aims to improve mankind through technologies that challenge the traditional philosophical and theological values of gift, filiation, paternity. Life itself is no longer lived as a gift received, but is subject to various techno-centric interventions. The theology of giving is thus called upon to reaffirm the inalienable values of life, not in a technophobic system of thought but through the appreciation of what is positive in each technology for the continuation of the work of creation.
