This article offers an analysis of the political sociology of Brazil, from the dismissal of President Dilma Rousseff (2016) to the political hypercrisis of the Bolsonaro government (2020). While following the temporal development of crises, the article seeks to combine an analysis of the economic situation with an analysis of social and systemic disintegration in a diagnosis of current events.
