The aim of this work is to demonstrate the clinical impact of a therapy group for people having intellectual deficiencies (ID) associated with other psychiatric disorders. The central themes of this therapy focuses on participants’ difficulties in affective, relational and sexual fields. The authors believe that it is of utmost importance to report this kind of positive clinical experiences with a therapy group, all the more so as clinical tools, research work and publications in french remain few in this field. In this paper, we present adapted clinical tools and discuss the results of this research.
