In this article, we will see how the adolescent brain, still under development, presents an increased vulnerability when taking drugs. However, we are not all equal when it comes to drugs. The dependence mechanism is based on subtle modifications of the cerebral connectome and the plasticity of certain neurons that we will detail. We will also see the involvement of the cerebellum in addictive behaviours. Hypnosis will help restore flexibility in neurons and put the body in motion. In this respect, it is interesting to simplify and modernize Erikonian hypnosis to make it consistent with neuroscience data. Finally, we will see that new therapeutic solutions are now based on sports, education and nutritional programmes and show good results in the field of addictions.
