Four force replenishment ships ( bâtiments ravitailleurs de forces—BRFs) will replace the three Durance class AORs between 2022 and 2029. Inspired by the Italian LSS, the BRF will bring new capabilities to our ocean-based navy, as well as being adaptable to future needs, including that of the next aircraft carrier.
