Trust and intent to prevent HIV/Aids: what role for perceived behavioral control? - 2022.

82

This research, starting from the theory of planned behavior, studies the explanatory factors of the intent of populations to prevent themselves against AIDS. Intent depends on two variables: trust in prevention programs and perceived behavioral control. The model is tested on 666 target populations. The results show that perceived behavior plays a mediating role in the relationship between trust and intention.
