Analysis and Nothing else!
Baldacci, Jean-Louis
Analysis and Nothing else! - 2013.
35
Based on Chabert’s text “The beautiful Freudian,” the author examines the countertransference manifestations of an indication of analysis that is supported by a deep conviction. With reference to Freud and particularly to his text “A seventeenth-century demonological neurosis,” the rapprochement between conviction and melancholic potentiality leads to the necessity of a “betrayal” by speech. By allowing a thirdising openness, the “betrayal” opens a space of encounter between associative speech and interpretative speech: it brings symbolising speech back into circulation.
