From the Senses to Meaning: The place of Sensoriality. Ex-periencing, Perceiving, Constructing - 2016.

In French the same signifier refers to the two different signifieds that are the organs of sensoriality (the senses) and signification (meaning), which underlines the fact that access to meaning depends fundamentally on sensoriality. From there, the article tackles the question of foetal and particularly auditory sensoriality from the perspective of the work of S. Maiello on the prenatal primary sound-object. The question of polysensoriality is then raised, with refer-ence to intersubjectivity, presymbolic figurations and to the language of the body and the act. The article concludes with some reflections concerning the autistic functioning between au-tosensuality and autoerotism.
