The author reconsiders the experience of a long collaboration with Lacanian analysts in a day hospital for psychotic adults in a University hospital centre. The various forms of clinical collaboration are described, linked to the experience of a particular way of thinking. Special focus is placed on the introduction of an analytic presence and patient presentations in the Lacanian tradition, and the presentation of an operative analytic position that contributed to the construction of the setting.
