The theory arising from the transformations occurring in the analyst during the session always runs the risk of being an instrument of power more than of knowledge. The main concern of the analyst in each session remains how to promote, and in any case not impede, the processes of subjectivation and self-organisation, as well as the analysand’s primary creativity.
