The drive is considered here as both agent and object of transformations and accomplishments, complementary and interdependant processes brought into play by the process of working-through. Drawing on a clinical example, the author reflects particularly on motor function (process) from the standpoint of its aspects of discharge, representation, communication, action and delay.
