The article questions the thinking of authors, such as Boltzmann, who try to go beyond the energetic, mechanical, quantifying point of view. For psychoanalysis, it is a question of opening the way to an evolutionist epistemology going beyond the limits of the psychic apparatus and of perception obtained by the sense organs.
