In the following article, we will present 25 codes of conduct established from the observation of 1,105 situations collected by a management observatory, in order to extract 171 cases where a critical incident occurred. Performance and respect are part of the standards proposed in this grounded approach, providing proximity management—a new emerging type of management—with an incipient status of actionable and transferable scientific knowledge.
