Micro-territorial intervention - 2024.
89
In Brussels, as the health crisis drew to a close in 2021, new social intervention schemes were set up in a variety of “precarious” neighborhoods, with the initial aim of taking local action against the social determinants of non-vaccination. This article focuses on one such project: BRI-Co. It highlights the limits and opportunities of such a project, led by a second-tier association, with the ambition of enlisting a wide range of willing local actors (residents, associations, and public institutions) to help improve living conditions in Brussels’ micro-territories.
