Analysis of Practice in an intercultural context, the case of an African NGO - 2020.

Over the last few years, Africa seems to have opened its doors to social tourism and to solidarity tourism, thereby permitting foreigners to belong temporarily, depending on their motivations and projects, to nongovernmental associations or organizations, thus combining desires for travel with desires for humanitarian investments. In addition, since 2010, French youth have been able, thanks to the civic service, to invest in international projects. A new gateway has been created. Due to the growing affluence of the number of internationals within an African ngo, instances of dysfunction and disorder sometimes emerge between the local professionals and the foreign actors. We proposes to study these instances of dysfunction, but also to formulate a response to them through the innovative and experimental setting-up of groups of analysis of practice. In this intercultural context, the group setting must therefore adapt to its originality, namely, the interculturality of practices and practitioners.
