This article describes the triadic psychodrama used to support an adolescent girl who refused to be admitted to a child psychiatric hospital for anorexia nervosa. On the basis of a case study, we observe and analyse how this therapeutic approach, centred on the individual and the group, offers the possibility of reorganizing in the transference the defences set up against anxiety, thereby opening up processes of change.
