The internet helps us to understand better the representation teenagers have of the world and what they want to exhibit. The topics of their blogs reveal some aspects of the psyche. Some websites specialize in bulimia and anorexia, and these sites have changed some of the symptoms of eating habits, fostered the earlier onset of anorexia, and aggravated periods of weight loss. However, teenagers show a great capacity to commit to the therapeutic space and to find ways other than the Internet to satisfy their narcissistic quests and exhibitionist dreams.
