Donatien is a young man who is convinced that certain men he passes in the street belong to the terrorist group “al-Qaeda.” While they kidnap other men and attempt to poison the population, they do not personally threaten him. Indeed, Donatien has a “sharp eye” and, “out of sheer practice,” he has developed a “keen perception,” hearing and seeing better than others do, which allows him to try to thwart these lethal terrorist plots.
