Sigmund Freud deliberately chose to orient the formalization of psychoanalysis closest to the relationship between men and women. For him, the existence of the human civilization correlates to a psychic organization, that of a cultural era of the fluctuation of his proceedings. We revisit the logic of the romantic relationships of melancholic psychotic subjects from the perspective of contemporary philosophy in order to identify the main traits of the subjectivity of the postmodern era.
