Virtual surroundings, technologically wide-ranged, is for us the subscript of a deep transformation of the exclusive relation between subjects and objects. If our modern culture has built a social subject, withdrawing it from its environment (social, natural, technological), the contemporary use of new media allows to question the forms of subjectivity inside of their very context. It is probably with the notions of landscape, atmosphere, stimmung and pathos that we should question the social space and subjectivity.
