A game can be a serious thing. And the awareness that it confers contains a part of sublime. Based on this premise, the author considers the notion of “the game,” relying on the speculative and fictional discourse in Herman Hesse’s The Glass Bead Game. This illustrates the possibility that drama happens when it is updated and it is consistent. In other words, it’s when the game encloses itself beyond its transitional character, when it’s no longer open.
