This article aims to discuss issues and implications of using the word “vulnerability” in social workers’ practicises. It tries to question moving vulnerability concept to public action category. This discussion will be illustrated by a research about how homeless are taken care of in France. It adopt a constructivist point of view to consider both macro and micro-sociological dimensions (thematic reports; participating observation and observating participation).
