The history of detail reveals a paradoxical concept, which should raise a certain vigilance and attention. It is about the recognition of the minimal, which can be associated to ethical education, to the delicate moment when the ethical question becomes somehow apparent, and whenthe now perceived detail triggers an interrogation on the meaning (of ethics) and becomes a gesture.
