Based on the clinical material collected throughout various institutional interventions, the author proposes an analysis of the intrapsychological and intersubjective processes associated with attacks on groups by adolescents with poor symbolization. He argues that these attacks against groups are the result of a clash between the psychopathology of the subjects under care and a breakdown of institutional structures, victims of contemporary hyperindividualism.
