Carrying Out Action-Training in a Crisis Situation
Humbert, Chantal
Carrying Out Action-Training in a Crisis Situation - 2011.
58
Fragmentation, blocked thought, mistrust and loss of meaning are all expressions of a crisis within the work team. In such conditions, how can we envisage action-training aimed at collective reflection on and formalization of the establishment’s project? Moreover, can the action-training itself help resolve the crisis? Is the social psychologist’s exterior position sufficient to bring back the third term and help in readjusting the teams? These questions will be examined by presenting a concrete situation. The plan and its formalization by contract, the aim of the work, even the organization to which the social psychologist belongs are presented as so many indispensable elements in guaranteeing the function of the « third » and to enable a rehistoricization of the collective processes and actions.
