This article considers some theoretical and clinical foundations of Multiple-Family Therapy (MFT) as conceived and practiced by Jorge García Badaracco. The author describes and explains his personal practice for about forty years using this therapeutic tool, including the introduction of the psychodrama technique, in a therapeutic community at the Italian Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A clinical example illustrates the author’s point and serves as a support for the discussion.
