Local social centers and spaces of social life approved by the Caisse d’allocations familiales (caf) (Family Allocations Office) aim to promote the socialization and social inclusion of individuals, the development of social bonds and social cohesion in the area, the assumption of responsibility by users, and the cultivation of citizenship. They respond to local social issues by mobilizing residents within a comprehensive program of concerted social interventions.
