Lara, a radicalized woman hospitalized in a psychiatric department, is expecting a baby. There is a risk of Lara running away from the maternity ward. How should we prepare for this birth while maintaining a clinical and measured approach, in spite of the pressure and anxiety? While it was obvious in this case that we needed to think of a way of protecting the mother and the child, we questioned the role of different societal and security issues, distancing us from our caregiving role. In this article, we share our questions and doubts.
