Resumé Qu’il juge nécessaire ou non de devenir psychothérapeute, l’interne en psychiatrie, à la fin de son cursus, se verra gratuitement gratifié de ce titre. La formation à la psychothérapie ne peut se réduire à la formation aux psychothérapies et au-delà des enseignements d’un savoir théorique et pratique, il incombe aux cliniciens que l’interne va croiser sur son chemin de lui transmettre le savoir-faire et le savoir-être du thérapeute. Cet article propose de considérer la relation entre interne et clinicien comme la base de la transmission de l’intersubjectivité nécessaire à la pratique psychothérapeutique. Toute psychothérapie aussi codifiée soit-elle ne peut faire l’économie de la rencontre, de l’interaction singulière qui unit le thérapeute à son patient. Il en va de même pour la transmission entre un clinicien et son interne. Au couple thérapeute-patient répond le couple interne-clinicien et un couple peut-il fonctionner sans cadre et sans amour ? Whether they find it necessary or not to become a psychotherapist, psychiatric trainees, at the end of their training, will be one. Training in psychotherapy can’t be reduced to training into psychotherapy technics or methods ; and beyond theoretical and practical knowledge, it is physician responsibility to transmit the therapist skills and identity. This article aims to consider the relationship between trainees and physician as the very basis for the transmission of intersubjectivity in psychotherapy practice. All psychotherapy is based on an encounter and unique interaction between the therapist and her/his patient. We can say exactly the same for transmission between a physician and her/his trainee. They are couples and can a couple live without a frame and without love?
